Rock Exchange

Project information

R

ock Exchange was just an idea at first. Just a “What if?”. There was a time when there were not many rock nights at all in Liverpool. It got a bit stale. People didn’t want to just go to the same old places and do the same old things so we decided to make a change and introduce something new and fun. An interactive Rock night based on the stock markets. A rock night with a stock market theme was developed. “Rock Exchange” was born.

The Wolf Of Wall Street was a very popular film at the time and still is to this day. Everything just seemed to fit into place to make a rock night that allowed people to request songs with their smartphones while stock screens would be displayed around the bars showing prices of drinks. At times, drink prices would go up and down and sometimes the market would crash causing everyone to rush to the bar to buy more and more drinks while they could. This was a great marketing strategy as it caused a need for the product which is how all marketing should be. Supply and demand is great, but if people feel that they’re getting a bargain at the right time and the right place, they’ll go balls in. It was fun for everyone and it will happen again so keep your eyes peeled because Rock Exchange will be back.
